Step-by-step process for ICEGATE registration is explained below:
Step 1 - GSTN Integration
GSTIN Integration service allows trade to integrate their GSTIN with customs. Click on Services >> Registration >> For Integrating GSTN to Integrate GSTIN with Custom.
Step 2, 3 & 4 - Updating DSC + Selecting Role + Selecting Ports
Class 3 DSC is to be updated in the Profile before selecting the role and ports.
Step 5, 6 & 7 - Digitally Signing the documents + uploading Bank Letter + Cancelled Cheque.
Digitally signed Bank Letter and cancelled cheque is to be uploaded on ICEGATE.
Before uploading the documents, i.e., Bank Letter and Cancelled Cheque, the Banker must have emailed the Bank-Letter as per Annexure-A to the respective Port Customs' office.
After submission of documents, one has to wait for the approval which might take a day or two.
